Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness teaches you to be present with your experience without being overwhelmed by it. Integrated into therapy, it is a powerful tool for healing and lasting well-being.

Most of us spend a great deal of time anywhere but the present moment, replaying the past, worrying about the future, or moving through daily life on autopilot. Mindfulness is the practice of returning, gently and without judgment, to what is actually happening right now. When it becomes a real skill, it changes the ground you are standing on. Mindfulness is woven throughout my work with clients across many concerns, including grief, anxiety, depression, and the overwhelm that comes with major life transitions. You will learn to use it not just in quiet moments, but in the middle of a hard conversation, a wave of grief, or a day that is not going the way you hoped.

Who this may feel right for:

- Feeling caught in cycles of rumination or unable to stop replaying difficult experiences
- Struggling to be present in your relationships or in your own body
- Looking for ways to relate to difficult emotions with more steadiness and less reactivity
- Wanting tools you can use in everyday life, not just during a therapy session
- Seeking a more compassionate and grounded relationship with yourself
